  1. Hi Duncan
What a great project for you to work on with your Dad. You will be an expert mechanic by the time you learn to drive and get your own vehicle.

  2. Good Morning Duncan
I am excited to see a post about your lockdown landrover makeover! What a great project to keep you and Dad busy. I agree with Mrs Bayley that you will be learning such valuable mechanical skills, like syphoning the fuel tank and recharging a battery.
Do you think you will be allowed to drive the landrover once it is up and running?
I learnt to drive in my Dad's old ute as well...great to be in a sturdy vehicle!
I like the way you have used the image of your landrover as the background to your writing.
    Well doen

  4. Hi Duncan,

Your land rover brings back so many fond memories. The farm dad worked on had a land rover just like this one. I remember helping dad by driving at the back of a mob of sheep we were taking down the road (dad had gone ahead for some reason) and who should have stopped but the police man who lived down the road!! I remember thinking oh no i'm only 11 and don't have my licence and my feet can barely reach the peddles. He didn't bat an eye at the child driving the land rover and just asked if dad could drop of something later!
