Duncan's Homemade KFC

In lock down it can get pretty boring so our school teachers give us challenges to do.
This week for our tech challenge we had to make some sort of fast food.
I made HOMEMADE KFC!!
The only thing that was challenging was dodging the oil splatters.
The batter around the outside of the chicken breasts crusted up really well.
To be honest I think if I cooked it to much longer It wouldn't taste good, but it tasted pretty mutch like KFC.
Have you ever made your own KFC?
What are your honest thoughts of my homemade KFC?
Duncan

  1. Hi Duncan
Your KFC looks so authentic in the paper plate and the crispy coating looks deliciously like the real thing!
I have attempted home made KFC once and it was pretty tasty but certainly didn't look quite as crunchy as yours. Where did you find the colonel's secret recipe?
Tonight, we are dining at 'Charlie's Pizza Parlour' while he creates pizzas for our dinner.
I hope you have enjoyed this Tech challenge.
    Bye for now

  2. Hi Duncan
Mrs Bennett is giving you some great challenges to do. Did you decide to make KFC because it is your favourite takeaway food? I have never made my own KFC, perhaps you could share Colonel Duncan's recipe with me. Well done Duncan, it looks like the real thing to me and you wouldn't have had to queue for it.
