Zoo Writting

Zoo Writing

For the last week room 4 have being working on a persuasive text, it was about weather zoos should be banned or they should stay.We have to try to convince our audience. Here is my writing, I hope you agree?

I believe the idea of zoos being banned is preposterous. I strongly believe that zoos play a great part in the world, because they teach people about animals and how they live. I think that it would be cruel to not have zoos because say when the Australia bush fires struck, where would have all of the koalas gone. Plus all of the endangered animals would have become extinct.

A long time ago zoos didn’t take a lot of care for their animals, they just wanted money. Nowadays zoos try as hard as they possibly can to help the animals in their natural habitat. They also have vets onsite if there is an animal that gets sick. They also have facilities to care for sick animals.

Zoos must remain open so all people can learn about animals, and their habitat. If zoos weren’t here I don’t know what would replace them. I definitely believe zoos should stay open.

I really liked the way that you have written a very interesting piece of writing. I agree the zoos should be open because then people get to learn what they need and don’t need. Also the zoos do look after all the animals' health.
I learnt that also the animals in Austrailia could have gone extinct which would not be good.
