Poppy

  1. Hello Duncan
It is nice to hear your personal connections with Anzac Day and read your information around the significance of poppies. Lovely to think you will commemorate Anzac Day from your home this year, and a great way to mark the day by making poppies.
We plan to commemorate the day too, we will make candles with milk bottles to light in a sign of remembrance and also bake Anzac biscuits.
You are Sophia are great cooks...will you make Anzac biscuits too?

  2. Hi Duncan, It is good to know you are thinking of Anzac Day and the soldiers who lost their lives.
I was thinking of making a cross with a poppy and putting it in the new garden at our mail box. What do you think? Have you got a photo of the poppies you have made?
